Metal Christmas Haul 2010

Ok I am going to be the first one to start this thread here this year! Post all your Christmas metal goodies you get this year! We had an early Christmas get together with some of our family so I already got a few metal items...

1. The Sword - Warp Riders CD

2. Sabbath - Live Evil Vinyl

3. Sabbath - Bloody Sabbath Vinyl

That's just the beginning! I know I got some more under the tree from the wife I won't get until Christmas so I will post more then!

I doubt I'll get any...but I think I might get a good amount of cash which I will use to grab a bunch of 6.00 cds at a local used store next week. Hopefully their selection won't be too picked over

I'm not sure if I'll be getting any cds but I do know that I'll be getting some other music related items for Christmas.

I don't get cd's, etc... as gifts anymore. Noone knows what to get since I have too many.

That said I'm sure a gift card or 2 will come my way.

My wife never gets me any album unless she asks me first if i have it, or if i like the band.

Oh well that's always been the case for me too. No one ever buys me anything metal related - I just do my own shopping for metal.

i got a check from a good friend, and some saved money from spending wise this month, so im going to invest in some metal shirts.

Well,the wife got me a couple at FYE a couple weeks back that I can't have until Christmas but I'll have about $175 to blow on myself so the haul will grow nicely.This is what she got me:

I will be getting absolutely nothing metal-related this year. My ex-fiancee usually did a good job of getting me some type of music-related book or DVD set each year though!

I'm sure I'll get some gift cards that I'll put *towards* music though.

I'll get a couple of gift cards, I'm sure...but the other music related stuff I asked for isn't much Metal related, outside of the new King's X live CD/DVD thingy...my wife/in-laws will be getting me (most likely) the John Lennon Signature Box, U2 360 @ The Rose Bowl Box, and the newly reissued Band On The Run from Paul McCartney & Wings...

I'll get all the Metal myself...

I never ask for any cds or vinyls, unless they're giant box sets that I don't wanna spend my own money on. It's just easier for me to buy my own cds, because no one know what I own or don't own except for me.

I asked for useful things this year, like clothes. (maybe I'm getting old?)

Just grabbed the Dio "Sacred Heart" DVD...sweet!

So today it was merry Christmas to me! While I was at the mall came across death magnetic and chickenfoot vinyls for 7.99 each! So I picked them up they were used but looked to be in perfect condition! They look great! But no inserts or posters but for all I know they may not have come with any? Any one have these or know?

I actually got some things early this year, they were technically for my birthday since it's the 18th, a week before Christmas, but it's pretty much all the same to me it's gotten so blurred. But I swear, my dad loves me, he got me The Best of Black Sabbath, I love it, I know it's a collaboration of works and not a "real album" but I'll take what I can get at this point [no record stores in my town D:]. And, I got some monies, so I went to Ye Olde Goodwill and got myself an Iron Maiden shirt, the likes of which I had been almost literally dieing to obtain since I saw it. It was such a happy day for me. And as unfortunate as it is, being practically the only metal head in my town let alone my house, my friend is at least trying and I'm pretty sure she's getting me a Rammstien album but I'm not totally sure yet. A pretty good set of stuff for me so far considering the fact that I live in the most deprived part of a deprived state, I love Ohio, but I can't find anyone within a radius of 100 miles that could be on par with such a conversation.

Tuesday I am going shopping - and I will come back with some cds.

I will probably get a few gift cards that I will put toward some metal but that looks like that is it
