| I assume it's actually a "watch" as opposed to a "warning"?
A watch means conditions are likely for a tornado; a warning means either radar or trained spotters actually indicated a tornado in your area.
Obviously a warning is much more serious...

| Yeah, I guess.
Around here one of the first things you learn is the difference between a tornado watch (meh, who cares) and a tornado warning (head for the basement!)

| A PDS (particularly dangerous situation) watch is always something to be on your toes about, but the only time I've seen one of those is when we had the outbreak back in April. There's 3 levels of watches.
Rained all yesterday morning. Took one of the BCM TVs with it. | |
