What's with the price of Immortalis.

$100 or more on Amazon. Is it really that rare already?

What the heck? First I've heard of this phenomenon.

The only possible reason I can think of for the US pressing being "rarer" than overseas ones is that the label that released IMMORTALIS in the USA (Bodog Music) went out of business almost immediately after the album came out. So maybe to the hardcore collector types who actually care about stuff like that, it might be considered more desirable.

But even then, sheesh, there should still be more than enough of 'em out there to go around. It was only three years ago for cryin' out loud!

Is it the version with the dvd maybe? I didnt check the link. Also I think it was pretty hard for me to hunt down so maybe there aren't that many, who knows. All I know is I have mine and its not going anywhere haha.

In fact, you can by it from a few different places for between $10 - 20 on ebay.

I got mine from a local music store, the year it came out.

I got mine for $8.99 at a used CD store.

I just happen to have picked up my copy Friday for 7.99$ at the used CD store. Great CD, but I don't know that I'd pay over 50$ for any CD, even some rare Nuclear Assault material.

I got it from Prague for about 7 $ used. Plays perfectly...

bought mine for normal price at their show that tour, BUT noticed people complaining of this same phenomenon with Taking Over being exorbitantly priced recently. weird!

This is what i do with almost all of my albums. You never know.

That's weird how Under The Influence and Feel the Fire are easier to get than Taking Over. I noticed the same thing with Death's Spiritual Healing. Some albums just seem to get reprinted more than others ... despite being on the same label.

Funny thing is I waited to get this because I figured Bodog would tank out of the music business and it would turn up in the cheap bins. How wrong I was. Am now frantically trying to get a copy.

Olaf will make a deal for $500.

I must've bought my used copy early on, 'cause I know I didn't spend nearly that much for it. I'll have to keep an eye out for it when I go dumpster diving. Who knew it was such a rarity?
