I was sent a cd by these guys early last year to review...and loved it...horror themed progressive metal...Their drummer and I have become web friends and she sent me their new cd "Possessor" and it is better than the last.
I know some folks here like this sort of thing So I thought I'd plug them...HEavy metal...slightly progressive...female vox. Just good stuff!

OK now that I'm home, I watched the video.
You're better off being ignored.

Their cd "The Stendhal Syndrome" is great....

just got their new one "Possessor" and it rules!!
Nice expansion on their previous sound which was a mish mash of progressive/traditional metal with punkish tinges and an unnatural obssession with horror films.
This album even has guest work by Alex Mithcell (CIRCUS OF POWER) and Claudi Simenetti (GOBLIN)
The new disc is distributed now through Century Media...It's a good disc for those who like that sort of thing...

Hey, I like this. Listening to their Myspace songs made me add them to my want list.
And yeah, i also know the feeling of being ignored. Most people here seems to be into endless discussions on the bigger bands, but few bothers to check it out if someone tries to post about a new unknown band.

I always check out posts about new, unknown bands. I just don't comment if I don't like what I hear.
But even then, posts about bands no one's ever heard of are infinitely more interesting to me than yet another Megadeth, Metallica or Iron Maiden thread.

I took a listen. The music was pretty cool. Didn't care much for the vocals when she goes all "WOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARGHHHH". The female is both drummer and lead vocals? There's something you don't see everyday.

Her vocals kind of grew on me...when I got their last album tor eview last eyar, I couldnt get into the vox but loved the rest...but in time I have grown to like it all, plus She is really cool...we email and stuff...her knowledge of horror films is on par with our very own Toho.

I remember hearing the track 'Mr. Cannibal' a while back and thought it was rather good, if not utterly bizarre. I will have to look into Rusty Eye in more depth!
