Cool thrash band that was lost in a crowded scene in the late 80's. They have a bit of a crossover sound like the first Sacred Reich album. Any fans?

Yes. Good band. I haven't listened to them in a while. I'll have to dig them out, but from what I remember, they have a sound that reminded me of Nuclear Assault.

I have always wanted to know this. How is this band's name pronounced?

Since it's not a real word...I suppose it could be pronounced however you'd like.

I think it's A-Craw-Fet or something like that.

It's probably "Ack-row-fet" or "Ack-row-phey".

The way it's spelled i assumed it sounds like prophet...

Yeah, pretty good thrash band. "Faded Glory" is a solid slab of thrash metal.

I haven't heard these guys in a really long time.

I remember seeing some of their CDs in used bins back in the day but never checked'em out.

I always enjoyed them. I agree with ult; they do remind of Nuclear Assault a bit, with a hardcore edge to their thrash.

I prefer Faded Glory slightly over Corrupt Minds. Corrupt Minds was a bit one-dimensional. Faded Glory was a bit more diverse, and much more mature sounding.

I saw faded glory in a used bin once, cant believe I didnt get it...stupid stupid.
