Sure can, BTW is Deathcult still doing Mott the Hopple? I have not seen here in awhile. I know eyesore will start work on the Def Leppard thread when time allows him to. Starting next week, I'm back to my old schedule at work so I'll have three days off in a row again. I cannot wait! I also have a laptop now, which allows me to get around my company blocking Firefox. That's how I was able to access forums and such. They have everything blocked through Internet Explorer. I kind of suck at typing on a laptop, though. Haha. Still trying to get used to it. Either way, once I wrap up all the loose ends with the second issue of Shock Totem (out July 1, weeeeee!), I'll start updating the Lep thread again. I promise.

| I have a suggestion. I noticed you locked the thread about Kiss's Carnival of Souls earlier today or yesterday. I'd encourage against that.
Back when I reviewed for MetalReviews.com, they started getting all butt-hurt when people didn't post a lot of replies to their review threads. The forum is set up similar to this one, with most people posting in the genre specific forums. Say there was a active 16-page thread on Helloween's upcoming album in the power metal forum. Once it got reviewed, they'd lock that thread and instruct people to now post in the review thread. Really annoying. Similarly, if someone started a thread after an album was reviewed, it was locked and the user was told to search for the review thread and post there. Really annoying. And it totally takes away from the enjoyment of the forum.
I think someone wanting to discuss a band's individual album should be able to. The discography threads are much more involved and almost overwhelming when you just want to discuss an album. If someone starts a Kiss discography thread, then lock it, of course. Otherwise I'd let people just talk music.
Anyway, just an opinion. No need to get defensive.

| After telling fingers to go to the KISS discography thread after he wanted to discuss 'CoS' , I thought Spec was right to close the thread but after reading eyesore's above comments, I agree with the sentiment expressed above.
If fingers or anyone else wants to discuss an individual album and begins a separate thread on that individual album we should let it continue, if peps wish to discuss again or not is left to the individual members of this board

| I'd vote for locking all of Fingers posts regardless of topic, but that's just me. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| FEEDBACK: LIVING SACRIFICE THREAD
This was an important thread to me that I was very honored to get the responsibility of managing.
I was disappointed when I saw others deciding to take the reigns. If we're on some kind of time line or in a hurry I could have been contacted although there would be no reason I could see to be in a hurry. Especially considering for the time being LS is still active and we could be adding more albums in the future.
The Infinite Order, was not even two months old when it was added to this thread. I pre ordered it and was probably one of the first on this forum to have it. As proof of the lack of feedback on it, I was waiting until I could properly give my opinion on it. A few weeks is hardly enough listening to ad an album to a discography thread thats not going anywhere.
I'm not upset at anybody, I just don't understand why we decided to start throwing albums at it to get it over with.

| Sorry about your experience with Living Sacrifice thread, there are no timelines etc on how long it takes for the author to complete getting thru the entire discography, the Rush, Dio and few other threads took a long time to get thru, while I sometimes wish this threads would go by quicker etc, in the end it is up to the author. In the future I 'll keep that in my mind and I apologize for not making the experience of authoring one of these threads more pleasant, I hope this does not discourage you for authoring another thread in this section. | |

| I think people are anctious to get new threads started, because the list is soooooooooo long now, nd since we decided to only have a few going simultaniously, people expect the ones started to fly by in a fashionable time. But I agree, if we find a thread to be a tad slower then expected, try to contact the author first to determine what to do further with the thread. _________________ | |

Also, I would love to do Believer. But since their discog is so short, I was thinking I could intermingle Believer with a similar band, Sacrament. Sounds good manny?

Yes I will add you to the list to do Kreator, Believer, I am not familiar with their work but I feel that they made a signifiicant impact on metal and deserve their own thread, but if you want to combine them with Sacrement I will leave that up to you. Let me know what you want to do as far as Believer/Sacrement go.

And manny, if you are familiar with Canadian thrashers Sacrifice, Believer mixed the heaviness of Sacrifice with the technical elements of Coroner. The prime example of their sound is "Sanity Obscure", and that would be where to start. If you want, send me your email and i can shoot you the files for their demo.
