| Bob Halligan has written some great songs for some great bands over the years (e.g. KISS, Judas Priest, Halford, Kix). I was thinking it might be cool to put together a play list of Bob Halligan songs on my Zune.
Please list some cool, maybe even obscure songs by Bob Halligan?
Thanks in advance. | |

That's all the songs I could find by this guy.

| Is this the same Bob Halligan that's in Ceili Rain? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Check out Rick Cua if you like Bob Halligan - he;s not metal, his early stuff is arena rock and then vered into the pop area, but halligan co-wrote most of his songs. | |

| "Twist" was the worst song on Halford's RESURRECTION. Ugh. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Never heard of this Halligan character, but I tend to agree that 'Twist' is the weakest link on that album. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Rick Cua did a stint with the Outlaws. I used to have his first solo album on vinyl. I remember it being southern rock flavored. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I know he worked with Helix for their Capital Records albums in the 80s. The only song I know for sure that he wrote for them though was 'Rock You'
He also co-wrote just about all of Kix's Midnight Dynamite.

| Totally unrelated note, every time I see this thread, I think of my 7th grade teacher, whose name was Mr. Halligan. Nice enough guy but he was nowhere near cool enough to write songs for Judas Priest. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Bob Halligan is song writer. He wrote 'Take These Chains', 'Some Heads Are Gonna Roll' for Priest. Along with the other artists mentioned in this thread. His songs were generally to be the single used for that album. Didn't always work out that way... Rick Cua's album 'Colors' is a Bob Halligan extravaganza. He wrote or Co-Wrote 8 or 9 of the 10 songs on there. Arena rock type stuff for Radio.... | |
