Your thoughts on copyright may be false. These two lectures are very interesting and have very much changed my ideas about the actual use of copyright.
This may be the wrong place (since this has to do with law and me doing some preliminary research on a paper) but it does relate to music (and artistry in general). These are two of the many tech-talks given on the subject. I happen to like learning about law and such things, but these two are very insightful. After reading a few of the posts of the fine fellows of this board and I think these two talks may be very interesting to you. I also think anyone who's been following the Pirate Bay Trial may be interested in these resources.
