| What are some songs with awesome drum solos? By solos, I don't mean the little drum intros to stuff like "Living After Midnight", I mean like "Painkiller" drum solos.

| Tony Williams' drum solo on Saturday & Sunday from Jackie McLean's One Step Beyond album (Blue Note 1963)
That's one of my all-time favorites.
Also, Keith Moon - mid section of Won't Get Fooled Again (which was copied by Dire Straits for the intro to Money For Nothing) |

100,000 Years on Alive! Extra special credit goes to Eddie Kramer for adding TONS of reverb and Flange to that solo so it wouldn't be as obvious how incredibly sloppy it was. I still like it though. I got my first copy of Alive in 1976. |
