There was only 2 or 3 overdubbed "Dave-isms" on the whole finished track. It still amazes me the way VH could go into the studio, in whatever state of mind, and crank out early classics like Women and Children First in a matter of a couple of weeks. With some of the final tracks be first or second takes! Man, who is even capable of that now days? |
