I used to hate this album as a kid, built in prejudice toward AOR when I was young ( I since gotten over it) since I trust your judgement how well do you think this album holds up, I may give them a 2nd chance.

Well, I loved that album when it first came out...wore out my original vinyl copy in a year. I hadn't listened to it in probably over 20 years...and it was like discovering an old friend. This album holds up quite well (some of Geoff Downes synth sounds are a little dated), but Steve Howe is ON FIRE throughout. There are a few filler tracks, but overall I was surprised how well it held up.

It's worth owning for the song "Time Again" alone, this was the song closest to the prog-rock past of the performers.

*note* I never liked the albums that came after this one.

I had this on cassette when I was a kid. Haven't heard it in a good twenty years at least!

Yep. Plus anyone male who's seen Fast Times At Ridgemont High has to have a soft spot for "Moving In Stereo".

Yes a classic album indeed, I agree with toho, everytime Elliot Easton hits that chord on "Moving In Stereo" my mind flashes to Phoebe Cates \'arry \'eadbanger and that scene.
