We are seeing if different file types (mp3, WAV, AIFF & ACC) drain the iPod battery at different rates. We are using the same iPod, same song (ripped in four different file types), same volume level ,and we are see what file allows for the longest playback.

Well so far we've found that at max volume, mp3 and ACC last up to five times longer than WAV and AIFF.
