Don't know how I missed this one, although honestly, looking at the track listing, there ain't much worth investing in. Nuttin' new except for one live track, whoopity-doo. It came out on March 2nd. Did anyone get this? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| CM put out a few of these. Arch Enemy and Dark Tranquillity have them, too, and they're all the same. Just a lame "hits" package.
In other words, CM is cashing in. |

| Does this mean Nevermore will be leaving Century Media soon? Releasing a compilation like this is usually a sign of contract-fulfillment. Band farts out a cheapo comp or live album, see ya, buh-bye. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

In other words, CM is cashing in. Then to this, I say "Bah! I'll make my own greatest hits comp". Poop on them. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Hmmm, good point. They just put out the live cd/dvd a few moths ago and now this. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Since I have no Nevermore, is this at least a decent comp? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Certainly not a bad place to start. It's a pretty good overview of all thier work from what I can tell. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| It's so hard to say if this is a good overview. A good place to get introduced maybe but thirteen songs isn't many out of their catalog. The Politics Of Ecstasy is a must have in my book for all metal fans. |

| I've got everything from the band already, so I will skip on this purchase. It would have to be a little more expansive for myself to be interested. | |

| I can't imagine CM would be getting rid of Nevermore, Dark Tranquillity and Arch Enemy. They've got to be three of their biggest sellers. This is probably something that's part of their contract, but not considered an "Album."
If they sold these things for like $3.99, I'd buy them. Otherwise, who cares? |

| I like the selection.
But I've kind of grown off of Nevermore. After Enemies of Reality (I bought the original print, with the infamous bad production) I was already completely off the Nevermore bandwagon, but the raving reviews for Endeavor made me buy it, too.
Here's how I'd rank their albums:
1. Dead Heart in a Dead World 2. Politics of Ecstacy 3. This Godless Endeavor 4. Dreaming Neon Black 5. Enemies of Reality
Those are the ones I have.

I would say this is a very good overview for someone who hasn't heard much from them. All of their biggest tunes are there, though it looks like its in reverse chronology. I'd say go for it toho. Give it a few spins before making a judgment; their sound texture is so thick you have to listen a few times before hearing all the subtleties that are there. One of my favorites!
