| I've pulled on Superman's cape and I've spit into the wind, but despite all that, I know not to mess around with Jim. That's just stupid. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

I've pulled the mask off that old Lone Ranger, but like Sax and MG71, I too understand that messing around with Jim would be folly. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

True. I hear he's badder than old King Kong, and meaner than a junkyard dog. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| My Mom listened to Jim Croce's records all the time when I was a kid too. Him, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Leroy Brown WILL f you up. "No doubt about it" [said in a Denny Green dialect].
Croce was a VERY cool songwriter/singer! |

| Growing up, I must've heard Frank Sinatra's Bad Bad Leroy Brown about a million times. Friday with Frank and Sunday with Sinatra with your host Sid Mark. My dad's favorite radio program. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Sorry, I suppose that's a negative Philly stereotype. I'm sure your pops wasn't a mob guy. Not as far as you know. He worked in construction. He's got a great story about the whereabouts of Jimmy Hoffa though. I won't go into details, but it involves the Florida everglades and some hungry gators. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Anyone remember in Crocodile Dundee when the chauffer says: Bad bad Leroy Brown, Baddest man in the whole damn cemetary? Funny line that for some reason sticks with me. Probably because of the song. |
