How is that album? Is it one of their best? Yes, it is...very much so! It goes together with Starless & Bible Black and Red to complete the studio work of the 1973-1974 band. While they are all must-haves, this band was probably 10 times more exciting live than was captured in the studio. Check out the live albums "The Night Watch", "Live In Asbury Park 1974 (available from dgmlive.com) and there is a box set called "The Great Deceiver" which has been reissued as separate 2-CD sets. Simply the most "progressive" of all the prog rock bands from the era. Not afraid to improvise constantly and to play LOUDER THAN SEEMS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. |

| Oh! A fellow Dropkick Murphys fan! Cool!
Love the Murphys personally - they have some big songwriting chops along with a positive party-jig feel and almost total rock out mode moments amidst the punk rock ferosity of it all. Cool stuff. | |

Yep! I love Celtic rock bands, whether it's Celtic punk like DM or Celtic rock like Wolfstone. If you like the Murphys, check out Real McKenzies and Flatfoot 56. Olafsto turned me on to Flatfoot. He's also a big Celtic rock fan. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I know the Real McKenzies and Flogging Molly. I gotta go for Flatfoot as I do not know them. Can you tell me something about Wolfstone? What kind of Celtic rock they play? | |

Wolfstone are not punk but more like hard rock metal with Celtic vibes. Unfortunately, most of their good stuff is now out of print. Here's the MySpace for Flatfoot 56. Check out Loaded Gun & Chinatown Jailbreak. http://www.myspace.com/flatfoot56 _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
