I can't believe i overlooked this band all these years. I just ordered the Idolatry reissue at amazon. I love Demolition Hammer and Dark Angel so this is like a mix of both, sweet.

oh yeah Idolatry is a killer and classic album. I never really cared about their earlier stuff but that one is simply incredible. I saw the review on blabbermouth for the reissue and the reviewer said they really screwed with the sound on it. I hope thats not true it was fine as it is.

I always thought Devastation's sound was a little muddy, especially on Signs of Life. The music is OK, but the vocals don't really grab me. Not bad though. Plus Signs of Life has some sweet artwork.

Fantastic band. Signs of Life and Idolatry are two of the most underrated thrash albums.

Signs of life does seem a bit muddy, thats crazy that you don't like the vocals that much though. I always liked em and thought the vocalist's style especially on Idolatry is one of the highlights of the album.

I bought 2 copies of Devastation's Violent Termination on CD directly from Rodney back in the day. He was a cool dude, actually. I exchanged emails with him back and forth for a few weeks.
