Funny enough - on that VH1 Unplugged thingy, he does sing, "She's only 35", and then has a good chuckle. I used to despise Kip, but the more I see his good-humored take on his place in 80's musical lexicon, the more I think he is probably a decent dude in real life.

I used to do road crew/guitar tech work for a Maryland based thrash band called Fatal Force, in their rehearsal space was a dartboard with one of those centerfold pictures of Kip on it...
