Wanted to see if anyone was into or knew of any other doom bringers besides those below that played doom with clear vocals, and to increase my post count so I can get into The Forbidden Room

Google Wino Weinrich and then purchase anything and everything he's done.

Thanks man, some cool stuff, that is what I am talking about, everybody uses different terms but that is the sound I am looking to get more of,in that vein.
I think some of you already know me by my pen name, wanted to try something different, but I am more than aware of Pentagram and Place Of Skulls (see Nailed cd insert for reference)They are of course excellent but I place them in a different sub-category,mainly for reference of course,in cases like this where I am trying to explain what I am talking about.Don't worry, I am far from being a category cop

Yeah sorry, guess I should have made myself more clear,I was talking about that kind of Solitude,Candlemass sound, vocals like Robert,CM'S first singer,Sorcerer's vocalist, that crystal clear or European kind of vocal. Doomshine definitely fits, can see what the talk about them is about, some people call it Viking doom I think, but, please correct me if I am wrong on that,I have just always called it Epic doom, but I have learned it depends on the listener

Try these guys (and gal) too. I think they're fairly new to the scene, but sound pretty cool...

oops, forgot about MM,even though it was Marcolin, whose vocals I really like,I just didn't get into their music as much, may have to give that one a spin again.I know Robert guested on the Funeral ,but what kind of vocals do they have ,are they clear. What does DOW sound like, seems like every band with the name winter has death kind of vocals at least Winter had a more clear sounding growl,he had very good pronounciation.......

Dawn of Winter is a doom band from Germany with Gerrit P Mutz (Sarcred Steel) on vocals. There is no growling but very good band.
Funeral have clean vocals as well. Amazing band!

Elliotts Keep
One of the best new doom albums I've heard. Others:
HEATHENDOM
This band defines the term power doom. A power metal band playing doom metal is the perfect description for these guys. And they're BRILLIANT!

WALL OF SLEEP
Not sure I'd call these guys epic doom. They have a sort of "stoner" slant. But they're killer and seem to get overlooked a lot. Kick-ass band, though.

Hey guys, thanks for all the info and the increase in post count Musically most of the Elliots Keep is great,I was just shocked at the vocals,IMO they really got it right on Nameless, that to me was just the right mix for such a project,Black Wings was just black metal really........

I can upload their old demo, if anyone wants it? It used to be available on their site for free.
