This comes from an american institution called Kansas. An absolute gem of a band their early catalog IMO is epic in nature. I ordered 11 of their cds last week the most pricey one was about $8 and all are new and sealed. They should be here this week!

I used to hate this band when I was a kid. But as I've grown older, I've really learned to appreciate them and love their early stuff.
I also like Kerry Livgren's solo material.

I've always felt that the best album from them for Metal fans was "Masque". Not as much there in terms of radio hits or epic melodic prog; but probably the heaviest of their early albums. See "Child of Innocence" or "Mysteries and Mayhem". A fairly loud and somewhat dark album.
