That he is, but what has he done lately? He needs to retire and stop worrying about 300 wins. All he is right now is batting practice.

If the D-backs had an offense last year, Randy would have had 18 wins at least. He is still a good pitcher. He is hardly just throwing batting practice. Plus, he is 45 years old. Give the dude some credit for what he's done at such an advanced age. He will be the last 300 game winner ever.

He is a lefty and most lefties do well. He was dominant when he pitched, and is one heck of a competitor. Randy is now pitching in a pitchers park in SF so lets see what he does. Lincecum, Johnson, and Zito is a strong staff. As far as the last 300 winner someone will get there. Lincecum is young, Cole Hamels maybe these are both very young studs.
