I was listening to the radio the other day and a song i remember liking when i was a kid came on called "Rosanna". The song is really catchy in a old school vocal kind of way. Anyone else familiar with this band or like them?

Don't know much about the band, other than "Rosanna" being written about the actress Rosanna Arquette. But this little fella was adorable!!

I really love the Toto S/T album.

The big hit was Hold The Line but there are a lot of tracks on that one that I like more.

My favorite off the S/T is "Manuela Run". "I'll Supply The Love" is probably a close second.

All I need to hear is Hold The Line and Im done

Part of my Toto attraction is probably nostalgia.

The S/T was all the rage my freshman year in college. And anyone who's been to college knows that that freshman year is like.

I have Toto "Past to Present". The band is very talented. Love the song "Rosanna". The band is radio friendly, but non-the-less one of the better ones to combine jazz, funk, blues and rock. Steve Lukather is one bad dude. That guy has some serious chops.

I've always been a fan of Toto, but don't have anything beyond "Past To Present 1977-1990", and "Isolation". A great song that did crack the Top 40, but you will never see on any of their greatest hits albums is a song called "Stranger In Town" off of Isolation. This was Toto's first album with singer Fergie Fredrickson (2 albums with the band), so I think Toto treats that era like Bad Company does with anything released with Brian Howe.

I've always liked this song, because it's darker than anything else that Toto has ever written, yet has that pop hook to it. Check it out.

I got that, Tambu, and Fahrenheit. I remember them from the 80s and the sound they had is the kind of music I grew up with. I am interested in getting more of their stuff. However, their best work was on the Dune soundtrack. One of my favortite movies from then and one of the best soundtracks ever.

It's funny, I've had the inkling to do a topic for Toto for over a month now, but I just got too lazy and kept forgetting.

Bands like Boston, Journey and Toto were the soundtrack to the good old days for me.

Now i know i am getting old. I love this song! I can imagine Stryper doing a good version of this. Michael Sweet's voice would work well.
