Owens vs Scheepers

In my other thread, MC666 stated how he thought Ralph was the better vocalist. Personally, I'd go with Tim. What's your opinion?

Both are talented and have moments when I love them or can't stand them.

But I love WINTERS BANE - "Heart of a Killer" a whole lot more than anything I have heard from Scheepers.

Ripper gets my vote

Although I like Jugulator with Ripper, he really had nothing to do with that album but vocals. Here is how it boils down to me. Ripper ruined my fav band at the time Iced Earth. Scheepers will always be himself and cant go wrong in Primal Fear. I'd take Scheepers based on consistency.

Ripper is the better vocalist, but just comes off as a voice for hire.

I guess I'd go with Owens. They both do a temendous job and I'm not sure who I would say is the better of the 2, but I probably listen to more Owens-fronted music than Primal Fear.

Scheepers for me! I don't like the newer Primal Fear stuff but he's still a better singer.

Scheepers for me. I think he's got far more range and personality in his voice. And I think he's got more power as well.

Tough call,but I think Scheepers is slightly better (more "charisma" in his vocals)

I love Ripper's voice. But Scheepers is amazing, too. I think it's a toss up.

Scheepers all the way he has more versatility in his vocals IMO>

Bret Michaels owns!!!

When i listened to Scheepers singing Die Young in his tribute to Black Sabbath, i was blown away. Besides, i like a lot his singing with Gamma Ray, especially the song "The last before the storm".

Owens too gets my respect.

I think that, if Scheepers had taken over the mic with Priest when Halford was out, things would have been much much better for the metal Gods, as they could have easily come out with an album in the veins of Painkiller.
