Skew Siskin

Any fans?
Got their latest, and like it a lot!
Often described as a female fronted Motorhead.
I know a lot of metal fans don`t like female fronted bands, but i think she fits the raw music very well..

I'm a very big fan of the band. I think they are very underrated. I have the following albums:
Skew Siskin, What the Hell, Album of the Year, Peace Breaker. All very good ones.

I saw them a few years ago when they opened for Motörhead.

Their music is IMHO similar to Motörhead and the vocals are a mixture of Janis Joplin and Bon Scott.

Unfortunately the albums Electric Chat and Voices From the War are out of print.

Yes when I saw them they were awesome! Unfortunately they didn't do a song together with Lemmy. It would have been cool.

don't lump me in with those guys, i love the female voice. Skew Siskin is great. Nina is a pretty unique vocalist & fits the style they play pretty damn well.

I have one cd but them and really like it.

I went and listened to some samples after seeing this thread. I like what I heard, I'll look to buy some of their music when I can.

I only have one disc by them, but I've always enjoyed it. Never bothered to track down other releases, but if I were to find a copy in the used bins, I'd definately pick it up. I'm not a big fan of female vocals in my metal, but Nina rocks.
