| Massive Grooves from the Electric Church of Psychofunkadelic Grungelism Rock Music Anyone else into this massively underrated King's X side project? Always thought the title was catchy. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Good album. Very King's X-esque. It illustrates how important Ty is to King's X sound. |

| The album sounds like a King's X album with a average guitarist. That's what I was trying to say. |

| Don't forget Shannon Larkin on drums...that adds a nice touch to this album.
Doug's solo projects are always more stark than King's X, usually darker. This album especially, very heavy lyrical themes. But the music is FUNKAY!!!! Absolutely chock full of great riffs; in Doug's universe Sly & The Family Stone is just as important as any hard rock influences. The home recording limitations actually add to the ambiance on this one, making it feel more immediate. |

gotcha! I know this is a dUg album, but I really think it is way to bass-heavy [out in front]. Otherwise, yeah, great effort for a first try!! "Strum Some Up" and The Mob are still my fav side projeX. |

It does have a sort of muddy sound, but there are some great songs on this one. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite side-project. I love all I've heard. I recently got Jughead, and I think "Be Like You" might be one the best songs I've heard any of these guys. Something about it. I just love that tune. |

| I would rank Doug's solo albums like this:
1. Strum Sum Up 2. Massive Grooves 3. Pinappleskunk 4. Emotional Animal
I like them all though. |

I like them all though. How about "Supershine" I didn't put Supershine or The Mob in the list because they aren't strictly "solo albums". However, I'd put the Supershine album in between 2 & 3 on this list. |

| I have a version of The Unforgiven on a Metallica tribute album with dUg on vocals, Vernon Reid on guitar, Tony Franklin on bass, and Frankie Banali on drums. It is a great version! dUg adds so much soul to the song. Wow! | |
