| My wife came through BIG TIME and got me my one request for Christmas! Becoming The Archetype - Dichotomy (YES, THE ACTUAL CD!) Listening to it for the third time and so far all I can say is.....wow! The very first thing, the art throughout the hole package is totally sick. The photos of the band members inside the booklet are totally brutal (decapitated and stuck on robotic posts and fused with wires!). Still think Impending Doom wins the brutal art trophy though from Nailed. Dead. Risen. This is incredible death metal. Far surpassing Physics of Fire, which I did not care for, and rivaling the mastery of Terminate Damnation. The one thing that surpasses both previous releases is the lyrics. The songwriting is just insane. Very powerful lyrics. MORE LATER........ | |

| LOL, my nickname around here is "digital boy"! Because 95% of all my music I bought on iTunes or amazon as a download for my iPod. So Spectrefate and Eyesore give me a ton of crap!!! And now, thanks to them and Ultmetal, I have suddenly experienced this deep regret the last few months that I didn't buy the hardcopies! So now, I'm finally going for the real deal! | |

| Love it. I think the keyboards add a lot to the music that was missing from the other releases. I got bored with the other ones after awile because there was nothing that kept bringing me back. The haunting melodies the keys provide I think rectifies the situation moreso than clean vocals would (something I origionlaly thought would help the music-the ones on Physics Of Fire didn't cut it). And I agree wholeheartedly about the artwork on the sleeve. | |

| Huh, considering how I felt about physics of fire(It sucked hard IMO) I wasnt to hot to jump on the new album but I might check it out if I can find it for cheap after hearing your guy's thoughts. Is it the same lineup as physics?...that clean opraiffic vocalist annoyed the crap out of me on their second disc. | |

| Same vocalist but his clean voice has improved and is used very sparingly. | |

POF did nothing for me either. This is NOTHING like it. And the keyboards (which I was very skeptical of upon hearing band updates about the increased usage) do not take away AT ALL. Like Dallas said, they really ad to the atmosphere and emotion of the music. VERY LITTLE clean vocals, and kept them conservative... almost in the background if you will and no annoying vibrato. CLEAN VOCALS SUCK!! | |

| I enjoyed their first album a lot. The second one not as much. Might have to pick this up. It's on my want list, might have to bump it up higher on the list. | |

| Yeah, I got it. It's pretty good but like metalhead777 said, everything they do is up against Terminate Damnation, and that's almost not fair. | |
