I use CD-Ex, and it's great. There a rip setting you can set to "paranoia" which basically eliminates all jitter errors (those scratchy bits you'll hear after a rip). It takes a bit longer this way, but that's fine with me.
Plus CD-Ex will allow you to rip just a portion of a track, so you can split a real song from the thirty minutes of silence that leads to a fart. Or if there's a real hidden track, you can rip that as a separate track and eliminate all the silence. Great little program.
