"That guy" is Glenn Danzig. The Misfits recorded their music on a $2 budget. James is Pro-Tooled up. You can't compare the two and say one is better than the other based on recording quality.

Oh yes, that's right. His vocals still suck there, though. I guess you are right with the recording thing. I still believe they could have done that better. And even though James' voice may be pro-tooled, they still completely rule, playing that song live!

I'm not slamming the MisFits though - Most of their songs could just be so much better, especially if Glenn could get his act together. Never been much of a punk fan, though

There's no way you can sh*t on the Misfits. They're one of the greatest bands, and your beloved Metallica took a lot of influence from them. No one can make a Misfits song better by covering it.

I'm not sh!tting on them at all. I don't deny their influence, I just think the Metallica version sounds better. I was never much of a punk fan anyway.
