| I dig the NES and SNES as well but I would have to say for an all-timer fav the original Valkyrie Profile for PS. For a roleplaying game that has to be one of most innovative...at least it isnt some little kid saving the world, gotta love those...not. I wish I could find more time to play games again. | |

| Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Capcom Vs. SNK, Shenmue 1 & 2 are just a few. I'm sure there's more, but all my games are back at home (I'm at university) and so I haven't had a chance to play any for a few months. _________________ | |

I'm right there with ya. I would also add Galaga from that era. |

| I used to have this game for NES called Archon. It was a lot like chess except it used mythological creatures for game pieces. Each piece had strengths and weaknesses and unlike chess, if you wanted to take a square occupied by your opponent, the two pieces squared off and had to try to kill each other. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I'm with the old school - Galaga, Moon Patrol, Gyruss, Q-bert, and Yars Revenge would still be my favorites. I even still love pinball.
I just don't have the time that it takes to play the games of today. But man, if these systems were around when I was young I'd have never left the house.

| Resident Evil 4 is without a shadow of doubt the greatest action/horror game EVER made! You won't find a more thoughtfull and thought through game of this caliber today (still waiting for Resident Evil 5) I haven't played any other games all that much. Mario, Zelda for Nintendo 64. Halo, The Godfather, Saints Row, Condemned, Fear, Half Life series, GTA series, etc. Yeah, that's just about it. Not much of a gamer but it's fun to play with a friend sometimes, and I think that is what makes it so enjoyable when I first do play video games... because I don't do it 24/7. | |

| I'm from the Nintendo generation. My family got one shortly after they came out and it was a large part of my childhood I remember it very fondly: NES
Rygar Zelda (both) Faxanadu Shadowgate A Boy And His Blob The Uninvited Tetris Double Dragon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the first two) Megaman I & II Monster Party Contra Willow Dragon Warrior Jaws The Adams Family The Battle Of Olympus Blaster Master Castlevania Mario Brothers 1-3 Duck Tales Wizards & Warriors Fester's Quest Gauntlet Duck Hunt/Hogan's Alley Karnov Legacy Of The Wizard Mike Tyson's Punch-Out Pro Wrestling Wrestlemania RBI Baseball (all of them) Base Wars Prince Of Theives WCW Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle Ghosts N' Goblins Metroid Rampage River City Ransom The Adventures Of Bayou Billy (I remember this game more for the sound effects in the options more than the gameplay-I used those sounds for my G.I. Joe fights) SNES
ActRaiser The Adams Family Breath Of Fire I & II Final Fantasy II (next to VII, my favorite RPG video game of all time) Final Fantasy Mystic Quest Final Fight 2 Zelda: A Link To The Past Mortal Combat (who didn't) Street Fighter II Super Mario World WWF Royal Rumble There were more but I remember the origional system more fondly. Besides most of my time was occupied with A Link To The Past and FF II. The games were so much better back then despite the technolical limits. No system will ever equal the origional Nintendo IMO. I had a Playstation but barley played any games on them except FF VII which was my sole foucus apart from High School.
