I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I will say a prayer for all here. And one for myself that I make it through my 7th Black Friday overall. I have to be at work at 4am. Peace.

We're all congregating at my Mom's house and since that means it's likely to be crowded as hell in the house, my brother and I will be spending much of the day out in the garage drinking beers and will therefore be drunk as skunks by the time the turkey is served. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm celebrating by chilling out in my new apartment, just moved in this week. I also have the entire week off from work so it's been nice. Now hopefully business will pick up so I can pay the rent...

In the meantime, I'm thankful!

I'm working right now, I get off at 7 a.m. (at the earliest-I still have a lot of work ahead of my after lunch. They did provide us with a Thanksgiving meal though. After I get some sleep I hope to make it out to my sister's for Thanksgiving but that might not happen (I'm pooped). Then I have to be back at Wal-Mart to work that night leading into Black Friday (and I have been told that I'm guaranteed NOT to get off at 7). Then I need to rest up to go to Albertsons that afternoon. I tried to get Black Friday off but they really don't approve days off requested around this time (I put my request in mid-October and it was denied). The only way you get a holiday off is if you put a request in many months in advance or if it falls on a day you don't usually work. Oh, and yes I get to work Christmas night! Very Happy
