| Anyone else heard about this band from France? I have got my hands on their last two albums ("Dust To Dust" and "Virus"), and they're absolutely a force to be reckoned with in the Power Metal scene. They play a Metal I would describe as a mix of Helloween (keeper era), Gamma Ray and Stratovarius. Since I'm not that expert on all these genres, I really don't know if it's right to compare them to these bands. But still anyone who hasn't heard of them, might wanna check them out! | Yea they are awesome! I got all their albums. Their first album Coming From The Sky was produced by Piet Siek ( I cant spell his last name) The vocalist for Iron Savior and it actually sounds like Iron Savior too its a good album but their second one Sign Of The Winner blows it away and gives them their own sound. Their stuff keeps getting better with each album. Virus is a little different from the other albums but its great. Also too there is only 2 original members in the band now since that has also changed during albums. _________________ | |

| I have "Dust to Dust" and it's not bad... I'm not big on the symphonic metal stuff but there's some very catchy tunes on it... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I personally see Dust to Dust as one of the best power metal albums in existence. It ticks all the right boxes and has some amazing song-writing on it. I remember the first time I heard the track 'Lust For Life' - that "No tears in my eyes, no beat to my heart!" pre-chorus blew me away for some reason. However, I really didn't dig Virus very much. I found it a lot more generic. Perhaps I need to give it a relisten? I also have yet to check out anything pre-Dust to Dust, as I had heard it was mediocre Gamma Ray worship, but then again, I'm not sure how fair an opinion that is. _________________ | |

| I have Sign of the winner ond Dust to dust. The music and songwriting are great, but the vocals are a so high pitched, it`s close to sounding funny to me. | |

Yeah, I also found "Dust To Dust" to be a better album than "Virus", although I quite like them both. Perhaps it had something to do with the more interesting lyrical concept of "Dust To Dust", and the fact that it was a bit darker.

| Quite possibly, I did enjoy Dust to Dust's story, but it definitely wasn't the main appeal. But you're right, it definitely made the music darker. The main problem I had with Virus was it just didn't flow as well, and few of the songs stood out to me. _________________ | |

| Dust To Dust is the weak link in the heavenly chain, IMO. 8/10 | |

| What? I think the first album is the weakest, then Virus, the new album is ok but I think its just missing something. I do like it though. Dust To Dust and Sign Of The Winner are my favorites. _________________ | |

| They sound okay. I've read good reviews for the latest album and I'm considering buying it at some point. I'm in love with the cover of Carpe Diem. Now where's that dancing squirting penis smiley when I need it? | |

| I knew a guy that liked this band. They seemed like a power metal version of Queen. Tons of flowery layered vocals | |

I got the new one - Carpe Diem - and I like it a lot. Concerning the quote above: On the new one there's a song that sounds so much like Queen I had to check the song credits to see if there's something I was missing. It's an original, but it's obviously an homage (especially the chorus). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUE_f95yuPg

| I've tried a lot with this band...I have the first two.. I usually find that there's 2 songs per album which are really good, almost kill (like 'Time Machine'..'Spill Blood On Fire'..'Sign of the Winner'..), and then the rest is pretty much a huge example of what people call generic flower metal....I might get Virus if I can find it for cheap, but.. | |
