I was trying out Safari instead of IE, but for some reason it would'nt work on this board. Anyone know what is up with that?

The mac version of Safari works fine with this board, it's the Windows version that has that glitch. Believe me, I wold have switched a long time ago if it worked at this board.

Agreed. Many of the online apps from my school don't work on IE. Firefox is probably the best web browser, imo.
