I answer your question anyway, my favorite Police album is
Synchronicity, it has some Sting's best songwriting and great lyrics.
The performance of Stewart Copeland is flawless, and while Andy Summers
wasn't my favorite guitarist, who complients the songs very well with
his tasteful playing.

I hated The Police back in the early 80's because they were so overplayed to DEATH!!
But lately Im re-discovering alot of music I was sick of 20-25 years ago and I'm getting into The Police. I dont really know much more than their hits but I agree with Manny that their best songwriting is on Syncronicity. I like their youthful exhuberance on their first couple of albums, even with the less-than-stellar songwriting and hooks. My Favorite band of all time (Rush) even borrowed some guitar and drum techniques from them in the early 80's. Ive always really liiked Stewart Copeland's drumming and back when I couldnt stand The Police if I had to sit thru a song on the radio, I would just focus on his drums.
Im kinda glad they were around for a very short while because chances are they wouldve sucked sooner or later (see Sting solo career.)

I like Zenyatta Mondatta a lot. Great songs that you don't hear on the radio like Canary in a Coalmine is an awesome track.

Since I'm not a huge Police fan, I would have to say Synchronicity. My favorite song is definitely Synchronicity II. It has a haunting feel to it, and is less poppy than some of their other stuff. I used to really dislike the Police back in the day (when they were at their peak, but have grown to enjoy them more as an adult.
