| Yeah, I know. ANOTHER Metallica thread but I don't want this to turn into a place for Metallica disscusion, there are plenty of other threads for that. Since the general consensus is that DM is a good to great album, what is your favorite song?
Mine is Cyanide. Robert's bass is best featured in this song and James' voice sounds the best on this song (more like his old school style than the one he developed on Load).

Interestingly enough, WWE is using that as the official song of their next pay-per-view.

| Oh, they're all so good (besides III), I'll have to listen to it again tomorrow to give you an answer. I haven't listened a CD in full so many times so often in a LONG time. | |

| I picked the day that never comes. I actually like this whole album equally. I just finished listening to the Guitar Hero version of this a few minutes ago. _________________ | |

| Actually my two least favorite songs are Cyanide and The Judas Kiss.
I voted for End Of The Line. |

Same here. The last time this band was honest, I think, was on Load and Reload. "End of the Line" is the song that is closest to that style, and I think for that reason it's the best song. It sounds natural. To prove this point further, listen to "Flamingo," the demo of "All Nightmare Long." In my opinion, it's ten times better. It slower, grooves more, and is just much catchier. A better song. And again, more like Load and Reload. Metallica are not (frickin' contraction foils me again!) the metal band everyone wants them to be. They tried to be that band again, whether it was for the fans or because fat hip-hop hippie convinced them to do, but it's not them. They did a very good job trying this time, though, but I don't think they're being honest here.

I voted for End Of The Line. Ditto. Also voted for The End Of The Line. I like the old school feel the song has. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| "All Nightmare Long" is my favorite. But I like the demo version better. 2nd favorite is "That Was Just Your Life". |

I think it's pretty boring. It's a patchwork of leftover ideas, not a song. I picked it b/c it was the first one that stuck out to me because of the bridge and I really like the way the guitars sound. But, Eyesore is right, it's not a song, it's an instrumental and therefore, we can never know if there is "honesty" or not. We only have the title to go and that's an oxymoron. How can someone redeem themselves after death? Peace.
