You're right. I always use my computer to do this. That way I insure that my CDs remain in good condition, gives me easy access to my music, and allows my to make playlists on my MP3 player quickly (since Wal-Mart doesn't allow us to listen to music I keep in hidden in my pocket and put the headphone wire under my shirt and hang the earpieces on my under shirt). Today: Fear Factory-Soul Of A New Machine (one of the best death metal albums ever IMO) Alice In Chains-Facelift Alestorm-Captain Morgan's Revenge Shout-It Won't Be Long/In Your Face Avantasia-Scarecrow Helloween-Better Than Raw Nevermore-s/t For lunch: Various Artists-Drive Mix I | |

| I might do that as well. It sure is a lot faster than using my external CD burner. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Of course if you rip a CD to .mp3 then re-burn it to CD it's lower quality than the original (due to .mp3 compression). The only way to keep it at it's original quality is to rip to a lossless format (like .flac).
Of course this takes up alot more hard drive space.... |

Of course this takes up alot more hard drive space.... Yeah, that's why I usually use my external burner. But for a one song per band comp, I think I'll just use my PC. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
