S.O.D.

What are the chances of another SOD album?

I'd rather they just left S.O.D. as it is and not tarnish the S.O.D. name.

I'm sort of wondering if there will really be a new Anthrax album.

I still have a glimmer of hope.

Well i think interest in the band is at an all time low since it didn't work out with Belladonna. Bush doesn't even want anything to do with them.

Slim to none. When they broke up (again) in the early 00s, Billy Milano had a very nasty public feud with Scott and Charlie in the metal press. They hate each others' guts now apparently.

At one time Billy was trying to form a new S.O.D. lineup without those guys, I believe he'd even approached Dino Cazares (who had just left Fear Factory at the time) but nothing came of it.

sure, of their first album. i'm just in the same place as Ult on SOD.

I guess I'm in the same place as Ult and mc666. SPEAK ENGLISH OR DIE was a fantastic album, and still sounds great today. BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL had its moments here and there but was unnecessary at best.

They captured lightning in a bottle with that first album, and probably shouldn't have tried to do it again, especially not fifteen years later.

F**k The middle east is such a relevant song to today's world. They were a great band, wish I would have been able to see them live before they disbanded

Ah I bought their albums but barely listened to them so I got rid of them. I couldnt care either way.

I'm with you MC666. Hopefully ZERO! Their 1st album was and is a classic. Their 2nd album was a mockery of themselves.

I,too, think there shouldn't be anymore S.O.D. albums.

What about MOD albums?


I too really like Speak and still liked a number of the MOD releases, the last related disc I heard was Gross Misconduct.

Ther is a thread about my avatar. Apparently it is some Egyptain artifact recently found that bears an uncanny resemblence to the King.

I dont think they should have made Bigger Than The Devil really.

I agree with Ult, Mc666...let it lie. The first S.O.D. album is a classic, but we don't need another one...just like we don't need another Sex Pistols record.

As for Anthrax...I think they need to call it a day as well.

p.s. - Billy Milano is a moron.

I actually met Billy after an M.O.D. show. He was really down to earth and a nice guy. He took pictures with folks, signed stuff and shook hands with everybody he could.
