| Shuttered Room and Reach The Beach are new wave classics, IMO. I love them! Alot of people think they were a one hit wonder, but I believe they are still producing music. |

| The Fixx were one of the better so called " new wave" bands, actually saw them live when I was like 15 and they bored me to tears, but I do like the albums I do own, and they had a few radio hits "One Thing Leads to Another" "Red Skies", "Saved by Zero" and "Stand or Fall" all great songs and they still sound great today. | |

I agree that their probably not the most exciting live band but those songs are great listening for driving and parties. | |

| I just saw the video for "One Thing Leads To Another" on VH1 Classic the other day. Hadn't thought about this band in ages. Good stuff though. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I hear 'em a lot on the satellite radio at work. I recently picked up the remastered edition of Reach the Beach, with bonus tracks. Peace. | |

| As like many groups from the 80's, they are a complete nostalgia trip. They just encompassed that 80's sound, which I like. Other bands/artists that I really enjoyed and have that 80's sound would be like Howard Jones, The Outfield, Thompson Twins, Level 42, Tears For Fears, and quite a few others. My favorite song is definitely "Secret Separation". One of their more mellow tunes, but I love this song. It immediately transports me back to 1986! | |
