| I'm super surprised and happy they mentioned Leatherwolf. That's pretty awesome, IMO. |

| I think it's a good list overall. One of the better lists i've seen. I've never heard Icon though. |

Yeah, becasue LeatherWolf is a perfect example of hair metal! They were right up there with Bon jovi, Warrant and Poison! _________________

| People who have no clue are going to call anyone with hair that was in a metal band "hair metal". I just thought it was nice to see them mentioned somewhere. |

| Nice to see the entry on George Lynch gave props to Dokken's DYSFUNCTIONAL album. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who likes that disc. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

That would make two of us Cool. I think Eyesore has propped up DYSFUNCTIONAL in the past around here too, so now there are three! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| They should of included Icon's other guitarist as a tandem pick. John Aquilano was an integral part of the Icon guitar thing. They included all 3 from L-wolf and both the Skid's ! sheesh what a rip-off Wexler played and co-wrote some tunes on some Alice Cooper project back when ? Sure somebody who hangs here will know. | |

| Letherwolf should be on there! All 3 guitarists shred! Hair Metal though? I don't think so. | |

Seems in retrospect....if you were a band in the early to late 80's and played anything that didn't sound like Slayer or Metallica and Flock of Seagulls / Duran Duran... you were "hair" metal. Genre's are lame and usually only lead to folks getting way to excited about thier personal opinions.

| I was glad to see Nuno Bettencourt on their that guy tears the fretboard apart Extreme gets picked on for "More Than Words" and songs like that but take a listen to Pornografitti or 3 Sides To Every Story and you'll hear some real choice guitar playing | |

| The lack of DiMartini is one of the glaring omissions. In my opinion, so is the lack of Marc Ferrari from Keel, although many would argue they were not "hair metal" (but neither was Leatherwolf...). This list is so subjective, however, as many of the best were on under-rated/un-noticed bands. Arttie | |

| Kick off Vinnie Vincent and add Warren DeMartini and it's fantastic. IMO, the best overall player on that list is Reb Beach...but they all rule of course. |

Yea, Marc Ferrari would've been a good choice. I'd say Keel got more "Hair Metal" as they went on, though. The first two albums (LAY DOWN THE LAW and THE RIGHT TO ROCK) were fairly heavy stuff for their time, but they started getting fluffier with THE FINAL FRONTIER and especially the self-titled album from '87. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I think that's a fairly on target statement, although Final Frontier still had some pretty heavy moments. Following that one, Larger Than Live and Back In Action had some great stuff as well. Pelata nailed two other points...Beach is probably the most talented of the lot on that list (especially with DiMartini excluded), and Icon is killer! Right Between The Eyes is one of my favorite albums of all time. Majorly underrated band. Arttie
