| Just got this today. I'm enjoying this a lot more than Slave To The Machine (which I like). This new one is part glam, part alt rock, part hard rock. There's a talk box, banjo, harmonica, layered harmonies, etc, etc. Check out the song White Trash Superstar here: http://www.myspace.com/lynam _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Weird. I have Slave To The Machine with me at work today (along with Captain Beyond - Sufficienty Breathless, Tempest - Living In Fear, and Scorpions - Fly To The Rainbow). Anyway, I dig Lynam. Good band. Definitely a sizable slab of alt-rock in their music, but it's still got a nice old school rock and roll feel to it. |

| I like the new one better because it's got some glam elements. Heck, the first track almost sounds like a lost track off Hysteria. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

- One more thing here. I'm sick of saying stupid things about Nu-metal, so I avoided the most recent thread on that. But would this clip (the one song) be considered related to Nu-metal? Maybe Nu-hard rock? Or did I just say another stupid thing?
I'd put this band in the same category as Three Doors Down or Shinedown. Hard alternative? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| So these guys have been around awhile now? I never heard of them until today when a guy at work was telling me he saw them open up for Cinderella the other night. He said they were fantastic. I'm listening to some tunes on myspace. The song 'Porn Star' sounds like something Marvelous 3 (or Butch Walker) could have done. So are these guys any good? The stuff I hear on myspace is ok, but I'm not blown away or anything. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.
