| What is your favorite pop act? I know a lot of metalheads aren't too big on pop, but I enjoy some of it. One of my favorite bands is Devo, so.....yeah. |

| But seriously though, folks... Richard Marx has done some great stuff. Even my lighter CDs are still "rock/pop". Marx is about the only name I can think of in my collection that I would call pure pop, and even that is just his greatest hits. I don't listen to new pop, but I love a lot of stuff from the 80s. I'm a hits kinda guy though, I don't really care about owning the albums. | |

| After labor day I usually bust out the Classic Alternative pop; (Church, Tears for Fears, Spandau Ballet, OMD, Depeche Mode, Inspiral Carpets etc.). It's an end of summer thing I guess. My favorites are the Post punk flavored pop. Chameleons, Echo & The Bunnymen. | |

| Phil Collins later Genesis .38 Special Journey Duran Duran Toto Bryan Adams Richard Marx Heuy Lewis and more Just about anything from the 80s except New Wave crap like Devo, Thomson Twins, Culture Club, etc. This has to do with the music I listened to as a kid, my mom would listen to a lot of soft rock/AOR radio before she discovered young country . | |

| Richard Marx's Endless Summer Nights is one of my favorite pop songs.
My girlfriend has gotten me to come to an appreciation of the Fine Young Cannibals. Never cared much for them back when, but today I actually like a lot of it.
Of course there is also my long time liking (as well as embarrassed guilt) of Roxette. Never has there been a group that I've had to deny the tape/cd was mine quite like Roxette. I've been open about it for a few years now however. I think I have the entire discography. | |

| Roxette isn't half as bad as having to admit that I like George Michael's solo albums | |
