is there no Y & T thread? Reading Ult's reviews made me pull them out. All I have is In Rock We Trust, which is better then Ult said, and Best of 81-85. Great stuff, reminds me a little of Rainbow at times. One question, what does the later stuff sound like?

One of my favorite bands, my friend. Smile
What do you mean by later stuff? Give me a year to go on. Also, there is a Y&T thread here somewhere, but who cares if you make another? I've had 5 beers. Smile

Albums like Endangered Species and Musically Incorrect. Also the singer did a couple solos and i'm curious about those also.

The Meniketti albums are bad ass. Pick those up. He does alot of blues rock stuff on those. Endangered Species and Musically Incorrect are interesting records. Kind of dark blues rock rock records. Nothing like anything the band put out before. I like them, but they aren't regular players from my collection.

I love the older Y & T stuff (mainly Mean Streak). But Summertime Girls era blows.

There are a few, (I have started one) but the search function won't let you search for Y & T.

Bad Feeling is killer, may have to hunt the solo albums down.
The other, eh, not liking enough to spend the moolah. Thanks dood.

I agree. Musically Incorrect and Endangered are for the more ravenous fans of the band. The solo records are very worthy.

Y&T are awesome! I love the first six albums. After that they are a hit and miss for me. They went a little more glossy, which isn't necessarily bad, but not my favorite era of the band. Having said that, I love their pop hit "Summertime Girls". Such a merry 80's song, but you can't deny the hook. Sort of reminds me of Van Halen actually.

I'm such a dope. Everytime I hear that song I keep thinking it really reminds me of somebody and could never quite place it.

Ult is a genius.
