I did a search here and was suprised nothing came back.
Racing Time was one of my favorite LP's of 1982.
Anybody here still have some Santers in their collection?

I've been curious about them, since I like most Canadian rock, but I've never heard their music that I can recall. The only thing I remember about them is that I thought they had (along with Gaskin) one of the lamest names in rock. But I'd like to hear them too. I've searched for them years ago, but no find.

There's a fan page on MySpace but it only has one track up,and that's from 1985's Guitar Alley, which, in typical mid 80's fashion,is pretty lame.

Racing Time was a great guitar driven rock LP. At least for 1982 it was. Things changed dramatically over the next few years to make otherwise rockin stuff seem rather tame. Metal made me not give certain bands the time of day, even though just a year or two earlier I probably would have really dug them.

I still love that Rage LP Nice N Dirty because I "was there".Yet a lot of people I know who came into the scene after the fact will leave the room if I put it on.

Anyway,If I find some tracks up anywhere I'll post the link. The santers site just has 30 second bytes.

Pretty good Canadian melodic hard rock. I like it. Never heard them before. Thanks.

I like 'em. Sounds like a heavier version of Foreigner with a less talented vocalist, but still very nice.

Another Canadian band that I've never looked into much was Helix.
