what happened to them ?

Extreme Mardi-Gras.... a surprise band for me. The music and how they got a dead crowd going. I had a copy of "Ignite The Machine" but it kinda/sorta O.D'd on sunshine and sand.

Not usually a fan of bands in that vein of musical style, but
they have a 80's metal vibe all over what they were doing. The only band whom I've heard whose similar in sound and style is Drowning Pool, at least in that song they do with the chorus "let the bodies hit the floor"

Any current info would be appreciated alot, thanks.

No idea what happened to Junker Jorg, but thanks for the compliment. That was a good show for us. It was recorded and video taped professionally too. Unfortunately it will never see the light of day as the production company hired to do the filming wasn't paid and they refuse to let go of any of the footage.

I saw them in ABQ a few years ago. Shane went on to record a hip-hop CD about 3-4 years ago under the moniker "Kaimana" ,(or something like that), I believe.

Hey all, Steve from Junker Jorg here! I ran across your forum and this thread in particular and thought I would let you know what happened to Junker Jorg.

Upon returning from our headlining tour in 2003 we found ourselves without a bassist. Dean had to leave the band for personal reasons. We brought in a new bassist and began working on some new material for a new album. During that time, Shane did a hip-hop CD under the name of Kaimana. The band seemed to be drifting apart and never could recover. In 2005 I moved away from Colorado and shortly after that Shane moved back to Hawaii. There have been several attempts made to get together and record one more CD, with the latest attempt coming earlier this year! Unfortunately we have not been able to make that happen!!

So, there you have it! That's what happened to Junker Jorg. Thanks for all of your support! Peace Out!!
