Some of these were home duplicated by the bands and some were professionally duplicated. Because of this quality may vary. I just thought I would add this so that the super picky are forewarned"
That means this is a bootleg. Notice there's no mention of whether or not this tape is "home" or "professionally" duplicated. |

| Eyesore, I wondered the same thing, until I realized he has this same exact note in all of his current demo cassette auctions. So it seems that what he means is that however a given band released their demo, that is what he is selling, and some bands released them on self-recorded tapes.
I believe you can expect to receive the demo the original way the band put it out. I am not sure what this means for the Ashen Mortality specifically, but I wouldn't let that note alarm you.

ack Well, if that's just a standard disclaimer then it may be legit. A lot of people are now selling bootleg demos on eBay, though. It's not surprising, of course. A lot of bands just photocopied the insert and used blank cassettes for demos, so it's not hard to fake them. I have some demos I got from bands where they actually recorded over other bands' cassettes! Haha. |
