Another shout out for Rocka Rolla. Listening to it now and it was definitely ahead of it's time. Run Of The Mill is an AMAZING track!!!!
...and of course Cheater.

I agree that "Rocka Rolla" is underrated. I would have voted for that one myself, but I think "Turbo" is just that much more underrated.
I hate how many fans of JP at the time (and still now) hated their use of synths on that album!
SYNTHS RULE!!!
Anyway ... that's how I feel.

"Ram It Down" rules. Easily my second favorite from the band.
But I've heard others before with similar opinions as your own.
I never did understand that. One of the best cover songs in history is on that album too.
Different strokes ...
There are some killer tracks, but I don't like the drums, production, or the fact that it sounds like what it is for the most part. Leftover tracks recorded and pasted on another album.

If you are referring to Johnny B. Goode, then that is hillarious. That's the worst cover song in history!

I agree. I'm sure it was a fine song for the movie it was recorded for. It should have just remained a song for a movie soundtrack and not added to the album. Priest have always owned whatever covers they have done, Diamonds & Rust, Green Manilishi, etc. They did not do that with Johnny B. Goode IMO.

I don't mind some synths but not when they're the main instrument in the mix. It doesn't sound like JP to me.

Even worse was the video they shot for "Johnny B. Goode," with all the kids stage diving all through the song. it just looked ridiculous. I dunno bout the rest of ya, but I never thought of Priest as much of a "stage dive" kind of band, and even if I did, I certainly would've picked a better song than "Johnny B. Goode" to stage dive to.

Well, IMHO - "Jonny B. Goode" is a fantastic cover!
It's one of my top 10 favorite cover songs ever recorded!
And I know I'm not the only one who likes it. I've met many a metal fan who agrees with me on this.
