Yes. Those 3 are getting back together, but Vixen without Jan is pretty pointless, but I'm always up to see Roxy playing again.

This rumor has floated for some time. There are some legal hang-ups, I have heard, such as rights to use the Vixen name. Heck, we could end up with an LA Guns situation here, with two versions of the same band out there! Sadly, neither one of them would be that good! LOL!

me too, but she's wasting her talents in this band
Didn't they do one on VH1's band reunited already?

If anyone cares...
Janet Gardner has announced her departure from VIXEN.
The singer, who released her debut self-titled solo album in 2017, broke the news of her exit from the group.
"After much soul searching and many sleepless nights, I have decided that it's time for me to step aside and let [drummer] Roxy [Petrucci] and [bassist] Share [Ross] pursue their vision for the future of VIXEN," she wrote.
"VIXEN will always have a very special place in my heart and I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of it," she continued.
"I would like to thank everyone for the amazing support over the years, and as Roxy and Share continue to keep the heart and soul of VIXEN alive and well and I continue on my path, your continued support to all would be greatly appreciated."
Gardner, Petrucci and Ross are considered to be part of VIXEN's classic lineup, along with founding guitarist Jan Kuehnemund, who died of cancer in October 2013.

Vixen have confirmed that they will carry on with a new singer. (Phew) That's a relief. I was really worried there for a minute.
Quote :
VIXEN members Roxy Petrucci (drums), Share Ross (bass) and Brittany Denaro (guitar) have vowed to carry on with the band following the recent departure of singer Janet Gardner.
The trio issued the following statement earlier today: "To all our VIXEN friends and fans… Janet felt the time was right to pursue a solo career and devote more time to family.
"We respect Janet's bold and courageous decision to leave VIXEN and we'll always cherish the memories and music we made together as VIXEN.
"Moving forward as a band, we tip our hat to VAN HALEN who has two of the most recognizable frontmen in rock 'n' roll; Diamond David Lee Roth and the Red Rocker Sammy Hagar!
"With our new lead singer, we too will expand upon the VIXEN legacy while remaining true to our musical roots.
"VIXEN already has an amazing 2019 scheduled with a much-sought-after studio album in the works and a full slate of live performances!!!"
"More official updates and announcements forthcoming!!!"

Never liked Vixen. To me they represent the worst part of the late 80s glossy cheese rock. I’d rather listen to Heart.

I like both bands well enough (Vixen and Heart) but always felt that they were an all female version of Heart; but not as good.

Just in case you need to update your score card, Vixen's new lead singer is... Lorraine Lewis of Femme Fatale fame.
Quote :
VIXEN has recruited FEMME FATALE's Lorraine Lewis as its new lead singer following the recent departure of Janet Gardner.
Lewis has already performed with VIXEN, having fronted the group in March 2018 in Durant, Oklahoma while Gardner was recovering from surgery.
VIXEN members Roxy Petrucci (drums), Share Ross (bass) and Brittany Denaro (guitar) announced Lorraine's addition to the band in a Facebook post earlier today.
"Waiting for the Big One”!?!??! Then wait no more!" they wrote.
"Show some love and support for Hurricane Lorraine Lewis!
"Back with VIXEN to take care of some unfinished business!
"Join us on our 2019 'There's no Cryin' in Rock N Roll' Roadshow.
"See you at The Show!"

I'm not much more than a casual fan of Heart (I have a best-of album that pretty much covers everything I'll ever need from them), but at least they wrote their own stuff. Vixen had to get help from (gag) Richard Marx.

The Vixen girls play their instruments well, they're just not good songwriters. Their biggest hit was written by Richard Marx.
