| Back then, actually in the 70's... from the list...Zeppelin, Sabbath or Aerosmith What I prefered to listen to myself would be UFO and Kansas All the bands mentioned on the list had great lps and songs The Scorps put out alot of great stuff in the 70's as well | |

Yep, I bought both albums from my older brother for about a dollar each (my weekly allowance). My brothers didn't like the new direction Kiss had taken on Destroyer. I thought it was awesome. |

| Out of the available choices I voted for Black Sabbath (of course, see avatar)...but I was really tempted to give some love to Thin Lizzy who I think are CRIMINALLY underrated.
My personal list of 70's favorites would have to include....
Deep Purple King Crimson Robin Trower Steely Dan AC/DC Jethro Tull Rainbow Yes
Now I know that not all of those are "metal" (but neither is Zep or Alice Cooper IMO). |
