On the thread about peoples pets, I mentioned that I have goats. This reminded me of the band "Capricorn". I dug out their first album and listened a couple times this week. It's just the kind of mid-paced thrash that I groove on. Some silly songs (Friday the 13th); but a German band with kind of an American sound (not SF). Anybody remember that band? I really liked them.

You have pet goats? That is SO metal!
But seriously, I think I have heard of this band... don't have any of their material, but the name rings a bell... I must have heard them at some point...

Chickens are metal too! But not as metal as my dog. He's a golden retriever so he's named after a beer ("Molson")... that's pretty darn metal I'd say!!

I've heard of 'em, but not heard their albums.
I know they were basically the German band Grinder under a new name.

Cracking band indeed, both their CD rock, and the do a blinding cover of "You can't stop Rock n Roll" on the album Inferno

Just heard of both bands.
There's one copy of Inferno on ebay ending in two days:
I didn't know they were an offshoot of "Grinder"; I'll have to check them out. Capricorn had a slight biker grittiness to them; unusual for a German thrash band IMO.
