| Just got their best of record at Wal-Mart yesterday and i forgot how much i liked their bluesy, texas boogie rock. I need to get some more of their earlier records. I need the one with Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers. | |

| Did you get the early best of? ...the one with a magazine picture in the cover that reads like "10 texas tales"? that is indeed a great compilation. I bought the Greatest Hits, which is longer and has more recent material (and by recent I mean 80's material!), but I had to go back and buy that early compilation. It is indeed good, bluesy Texas rock and roll. | |

I got the greatest hits with the chicks on the cover (80's material).

| I wish they'd put out a full-length live album. Fandago is so short. |

| One of my favorite shirts just says "ZZ Top" on a thin horizontal checkerboard stripe on the front and on the back it says "Bass, Drums, and Fuzzy Guitar" Plain and simple, not to mention kinda / sorta clever | |

| Love ZZ Top! I'm especially fond of the earlier material (Deguello is my favorite, with Tres Hombres running a close second). Billy played guitar & sang backing vocals on "Burn The Witch" by QOTSA. Queens also does a pretty killer cover of Precious & Grace.... |

| ZZ Top will be Rick Rubin’s newest reclamation project, as the long-bearded band have signed to the producer’s American Recordings.
This was reported on Rolling Stone's website.
What do you think, is ZZTOP about to experience a career boost now they will working with Rick Rubin?

| It can't hurt since Rubin has worked well with many different styles. | |
