I'm told that I am missing an essential piece of prog cheese by not having anything by this band; especially since I'm already a John West fan from Sun Red Sun and Royal Hunt. Does anyone have any recommendations/thoughts about where to start with this band?

I just got Into The Eye of the Storm a few weeks back, and it's pretty solid. Not cheesy, either. So that album gets my recommendation

I have Future World and New Discovery but I find this band a little too proggy for my tastes most of the time.

I only have Forces of Nature, but I like it a lot. It's your basic keyboard heavy prog with more than enough crunch to keep me interested. I've never sought out anything else, but I would definitely recomnmend them.

I'd pick up "Future World" first.
Mike Terrana is an awesome drummer, and anything with Steve DiGiorgio is always amazing!

The only one I've heard is into the eye of the storm, and I would disagree with what was said about them not being cheese. The keyboards have this weird programming that gets REALLY anoying after awile, but yeah John West is a great vocalist. I may be the only one, but if you listen too Ultimatum's "wickedmess and Perdition" off the 1993 demo it sounds just like John west.

I got their first 3 albums. They are ok. I havent found the other albums cheap enough to pick them up yet. Phoenix Rising is good so is Into the Eye Of The Storm they just seem to get a little repeatative with each release.
