Penguins vs. Red Wings 6/2/08

Anyone catch the Stanley Cup playoff game last night? What an incredible game! Pittsburg down by one with the 40 seconds left to go in the game and they score with the help of the extra attacker and an empty net! It went into three periods of overtime before the Pens took the game! Incredible hockey!

Definitely a classic and one that maybe this team can use for inspiration. Crosby, if he stays healthy, will challenge some of Gretzky's records.

That's what I am hoping for.

Yup, Fluery was incredible. The Pens don't have a chance without him. Their defense and offense just isn't as good as the Red Wings. Regardless, I'd still like to see the Red Wings lose.

It was so cool hearing all those Red Wings chant "We want the cup" with minutes left in the game, only to lose it with 30 seconds left.

Detroit is like the Patriots to me, i'm sick of 'em. And I use to watch Hossa in Portland play junior hockey so there's my hometown connection.

Yeah man ! The Pens are my team ! That game was one of the best ever I think (of course they're that much better when your team wins). I hope they can force a game 7 . Detroit is definitely a better team but anything can happen.
